Although MOBIOPLUS is not classified as a fungicide, its naturally occurring endophytes and bioactive compounds have proven highly effective against a range of common fungal diseases — with zero detectable residue.
Soil drenching with MOBIOPLUS is highly effective against root knot nematodes — a common and damaging soil pathogen. Also shown to reduce nematode populations in peanut trials.
Why does this work? Our MO Trees harbour a large number of endophytes which secrete bioactive compounds with potency against certain diseases. More than 20 of these compounds have been isolated — with antimicrobial, antifungal, germicidal, insecticidal and anti-inflammatory characteristics. All with zero detectable residue on the crop.
