About MOBIOPLUS

General questions about our brand, our products and our promise.

What is MOBIOPLUS? +

MOBIOPLUS is a proudly South African brand by Monutrix (Pty) Ltd, based in Limpopo. We make natural, plant-based products from our own hand-harvested Moringa Oleifera trees — for both agricultural use (MO Garden & Home) and human wellness (MO Health).

Are your products certified organic? +

Yes. All MOBIOPLUS products are 100% organic — plant-based, plant-derived and plant-only. No synthetic fertilisers, no chemical residues, no artificial additives. Both ranges are registered with the South African Department of Agriculture (Registration No. M197, Act 36 of 1947).

[CLIENT: confirm any additional organic certification bodies — e.g. ECOCERT, NOP, etc. — and add here]

What is Registration M197? +

M197 is the official registration number issued by the South African Department of Agriculture under Act 36 of 1947 — the legislation that governs fertilisers, farm feeds, agricultural remedies and stock remedies in South Africa. It confirms our products are reviewed, approved and continuously monitored by a national regulator.

Where are your products made? +

Every leaf in every MOBIOPLUS product is grown, hand-harvested and processed on our own plantation in [CLIENT: insert plantation town/area], Limpopo. We don't buy bulk from anonymous suppliers — we control the supply chain from seedling to bottle.

What does "food grade" mean? +

Food grade means the product meets the safety standards required for human consumption. The same processing standards apply across both our product families — so the same Moringa that goes into the biostimulant is safe enough to eat. Zero detectable residue means no chemical traces are left on crops treated with it.

Why Moringa specifically? +

Moringa Oleifera is known as the "tree of life" — one of the most nutritionally dense plants on earth. It naturally contains 92 nutrients, 46 antioxidants, 36 anti-inflammatory compounds, 18 amino acids (including all 9 essential) and bioactive plant compounds that activate growth in other plants. One tree, two purposes — nourishing people, activating plants.

Are your products tested or peer-reviewed? +

Yes. Our biostimulant has been trialled across 30+ crops on commercial farms across South Africa since 2021, with documented results — including independent lab validation from Nvirotek Labs. View our research and trial data →

MO Garden & Home

Questions about using MOBIOPLUS biostimulant on your crops, garden or commercial farm.

What is a biostimulant — and how is it different from fertiliser? +

Fertilisers feed the plant — they supply nutrients (N, P, K). MOBIOPLUS activates the plant — it switches on the plant's biological systems so it absorbs and uses nutrients more efficiently. The simplest way to put it: Fertilisers = Food. MOBIOPLUS = Metabolism + Efficiency.

You don't replace fertiliser with MOBIOPLUS. You use them together — and your fertiliser works harder.

How do I apply MOBIOPLUS? +

MOBIOPLUS is applied as a foliar spray (directly on leaves) or as a soil drench. Standard dilution is 1% — 10ml MBP per 1L of water. For field crops the rate is typically 3L per hectare; tree crops 6–10L per hectare. Apply a minimum of 3 times per season, 14 days apart.

Which pack size do I need? +

50ml — trial pack, makes 5L of solution (a few plants or one tree)

500ml — home garden, makes 50L of solution (vegetable beds, fruit trees, ornamentals)

5L — smallholders and market gardeners (~1.6 hectares coverage)

20L — commercial farms and large operations (~6.5 hectares coverage)

Starter Pack — a 5L pressure sprayer + 50ml MBP, the easiest way to begin

Can I mix MOBIOPLUS with other products? +

Yes. MOBIOPLUS has no known incompatibilities and can be mixed with most foliar products and fertilisers. Do not mix with herbicides. Always do a small jar test before tank-mixing with anything new.

What crops does MOBIOPLUS work on? +

30+ documented crops including field crops (maize, soya, wheat), horticulture (tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, brassicas), root crops (potatoes, onions, radish, carrots), legumes (peas, beans, mung beans), cucurbits (cucumbers, pumpkin, butternut, baby marrows) and tree crops (avocados, citrus, mangoes, macadamia). See full trial data →

How long until I see results? +

Visible plant response — stronger growth, greener leaves, more flowers — often shows within 7–14 days of the first application. Yield results compound across the season as the plant's biological systems are activated through multiple growth stages.

Will it kill pests or treat diseases? +

MOBIOPLUS isn't classified as a pesticide or fungicide. However, its natural endophytes and bioactive compounds have shown effectiveness against a range of common fungal diseases — powdery mildew, botrytis, fusarium, blossom end rot and more — with zero detectable residue. It's also been shown to suppress root knot nematodes.

Is it safe to use on edible crops? +

Yes. MOBIOPLUS is food grade and leaves zero detectable residue on crops. Safe for the operator, safe for the environment, safe for the end consumer. Suitable for organic certification programs.

How long does it last once opened? +

Shelf life is 12 months from manufacture in the sealed original container, stored in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store diluted product — mix only what you'll use that day.

MO Health

Questions about taking MOBIOPLUS Moringa powder and capsules.

What is Moringa, and what does it do? +

Moringa Oleifera — the "tree of life" — is one of the most nutritionally dense plants on earth. A single serving contains 92 nutrients, 46 antioxidants, 36 anti-inflammatory compounds and 18 amino acids (including all 9 essential). It supports natural immunity, energy, digestion, heart health, bone health and overall daily wellness.

Powder or capsules — which should I choose? +

Same Moringa, different routine.

Powder — 2 level teaspoons (5g) daily, mixed into smoothies, water, tea, coffee, soups or salads. Best for people who already drink smoothies or want a flexible, taste-aware way to take it.

Capsules — 2 capsules at night with a glass of water. No taste, no mixing, no preparation. Best for people who travel, have busy mornings, or don't enjoy the earthy Moringa flavour.

How much should I take per day? +

Powder: 2 level teaspoons (5g) per day, preferably with a meal.

Capsules: 2 capsules per day, preferably at night with a glass of water.

If you're new to Moringa, start with half the dose and build up over a week to allow your body to adjust.

Are there any side effects? +

Moringa is generally safe and well-tolerated when consumed as directed. Some people experience mild digestive adjustment when first starting — usually mild and short-lived. Starting at half-dose for the first week reduces this.

If you have a thyroid condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are on chronic medication, or have an underlying health condition — consult a healthcare professional before adding Moringa to your routine.

Can children take it? +

Not intended for children under 2 years. For older children, consult a paediatrician or healthcare professional for appropriate dosing.

Is it vegan / gluten-free / non-GMO? +

Yes to all three. Pure plant-based Moringa Oleifera leaf with no fillers, no binders, no preservatives, no artificial additives. Naturally gluten-free and non-GMO. The capsules use vegetable-based shells.

How long until I feel a difference? +

Moringa works best as a daily habit — the benefits build cumulatively. Some people notice improved energy and digestion within the first 2 weeks, while broader effects on immunity, skin and overall wellness typically show across 4–8 weeks of consistent daily use.

Can I mix Moringa powder into hot drinks? +

Yes. Hot tea or coffee is fine. What matters is not adding it to actively boiling liquid or cooking it at high heat for long periods, which can reduce nutritional potency. Adding it to a warm drink, smoothie, or stirring it into a soup just before serving works perfectly.

How do I store it? +

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed after each use. No refrigeration needed.
